Our molding business focuses on high quality products, many of which are displayed on this applications page. Specializing in high quality finished products, USi's primary production materials are Polycarbonate, Acrylic and ABS. Our machines range in size from 210 Tons up to 1100 in single shot and we have one 990 Ton two shot machine. Our production injection machines can accomodate a large range of products.

Exterior Hardcoated PC trim is a rapidly growing segment of our business. As the worlds largest user of AS4700, USi can supply your high quality, high gloss flowcoated trim products. With the capability to coat a large variety of parts, USi can help develop your product to fit your engineering standards. The AS4700 coating system was developed specifically to provide superior performance on exterior trim and glazing.

USi has been supplying lighting components to our global customers since 1998.  The AS4000 system, coupled with our flowcoating process, provides a product that is second to none for quality and weatherability in the lighting industry.  USi is also supplying these coated products to the ATV, Motorcycle and Industrial markets.

Our Multi-shot molding business has been primarily in the Forward Lighting products. Our 990T Two-shot machine is ideal for high quality, high precision molding necessary for this industry.  There are an endless number of product segments that can benefit from two shot molding. USi has been providing insert molded products to our global customers since 1999. There are several processes that can be used to acheive specific results based on your production design and quality requirements. Insert molding also gives you the flexibility to produce a large variety of patterns and colors of parts from the same injection mold. Contact us for information about your specific application.

Hydrographics provides a very unique process for parts with geometries that are otherwise difficult to decorate. These process allows greater design flexibility without sacrificing manufacturability. The process also allows you to make multiple patterns of parts from the same injection tooling.

USi's paint department is capable of a large array of product and colors. Our 6 axis robotic paint lines give us a lot of flexbility and the consistent process only a robotic process can provide. Utilizing the latest in single and two component paint technologies, USi can develop a color and process to meet your quality and manufacturing expectations.

Our assembly capabilities truely allow USi to be a full service supplier. We can mold, decorate and fully assemble your product. Save your overhead and shipping costs and let USi send you a completed product for your final assembly. The assembly lines use a combination of fixed and robotic vision systems to 100% check the finished products.
